Over the past weeks many people have been quietly carrying more than usual.
Constant news cycles. Conversations about global events. Travel plans changing. Concern for friends and family across the world.
Even when we try to stay balanced, the body often feels it first.
Sleep becomes lighter. Thoughts become busier. A low level of tension sits in the background of ordinary days.
Community Circle is a simple space to step out of that noise for a few hours.
A small group gathering where we pause, breathe, reflect, and spend time in thoughtful human company.
Held at the River Canoe Club in Marrickville, this circle invites you to slow the pace for a moment and reconnect with yourself while sitting alongside others who may be feeling similar things.
During our time together I will gently guide the group through a few simple practices:
• somatic practices
• short meditations
• a guided systemic constellation exploring the wider dynamics affecting our world
Rather than focusing on personal stories, this constellation will look at the larger systems we are all part of: countries, collective tension, and our place within it.
For people who have never experienced constellations before, this is also a gentle introduction to the method.
When uncertainty rises around us, the natural response of the body is to brace.
Many people try to manage that tension privately.
Yet throughout history humans have processed difficult moments through gathering, conversation, and shared reflection.
A room where people pause together often brings a kind of clarity that cannot appear when we are alone with our thoughts.
Community Circle offers that.
A calm, respectful space where nothing needs to be solved immediately.
Just a few hours to breathe, reflect, and reconnect with shared human presence.
• recent world events have been sitting heavily on your mind
• you notice tension building in your body
• you would like space to pause and reflect
• you are curious about systemic constellations
• you value thoughtful community spaces
You are welcome to speak, listen, or simply sit quietly in the room.
Everything is optional, come exactly as you are.
